Why are you applying for this position?
I would like  to run for this position again because I am very interested in school politics an dI truly believe in the change that we can make in people's lives. I would like to say that this year has been a great success in reviving this organisation from the basis to the top, I was the editor of the ISU website this year, greatly improving it since last year. I also have learnt a lot this year and that will help greatly next year with planning and also with efficiency in creating new events. This year I enjoyed this position a lot, especially as I worked closely with Martin AttaAlla, our education officer on several educational projects, especially the Histology seminars, physiology seminars and the K2S society where we worked on the laparoscopy simulators sessions.

Why are you applying for this position?
I’m a team player and I’ll help everyone out with whatever I can. My main goal would be to make sure that all ISU events and delegations run smoothly and that everyone is always satisfied with the ISU on a whole. I would like to work towards this along with all the other members of the Union.

Why are you applying for this position?
I have always felt a need to be an active part of my community. Throughout highschool I've held several roles that enabled me to do so.
I have learnt what it means to be an active part of the community and to leave a lasting impact on the people I deal with on a day-to-day basis.

I have held the position of Eductaional Officer over the last year and prior to that i was a part of the ISU Edicational Council. I learnt how to efficiently organise large events, but most importantly, I have learnt to motivate my peers when they needed it the most.

I am re-running for the position that I have know so well with aspirations to set up larger, more intricate and interactive Educational events to make our limited years in medical school a walk in the park.

Why are you applying for this position?
I think we could all do with a little bit of help getting through this university, and I believe this can be done with the input, experience and active participation of students. I do have some ideas in mind I wish to put into action, if given the opportunity to run as education officer.
- Introduce new delegates for each year to improve the efficiency of the system.
- Reach out to the university to help us in organising mock exams.
- Subject review seminars.
- Addressing the key topic of career options after graduation.
I've seen firsthand the troubles we go through during our studies in our university, which can be easily avoided given the right information and help, and together I hope we can make changes for the benefit of the years to come.

Why are you applying for this position?
24 hours a day, 5 times a week we read, write and constantly face the struggles of Med-school. I personally believe that participating in a social community makes a tremendous difference in alleviating the pressures we face on a regular basis. Being elected as house captain & prefect in high school has provided me with the essential skills I would need to effectively take on this role. As social rep, my primary objective would be to encourage each and every student in LFHK to get involved, express yourself & be a part of the community.

Why are you applying for this position?
Having been here for nearly 3 years, I’ve seen quite a lot of HK and feel as a social officer, I can help show people that HK isn’t such a boring place and there are a huge variety of social activities we can do to help melt off the stress of Medical School. As a soon to be fourth year, I will have so much time to put into this position and try and organise, within the budget of ISU, as many events catered to every student as I can!

Why are you applying for this position?
I’ve always been particular about tracking and managing different variables of a project whether it be personal or professional to see it to fruition in the best way possible, so managing the finances for the ISU I believe would fall comfortably into my realm of interest and experience.
I would like to help the ISU in this capacity if I’m given the opportunity.

Why are you applying for this position?
I am aware of the duties and responsibilities of treasurer and I believe I am up to the task and most certainly competent. I have managed financial affairs in volunteering events back home (with Dubai Cares). I am good at working with other people.  I also am a perfectionist and take pride in my work, so naturally I find this position to be fitting for me. I hope to benefit the ISU and the student body with my work.
